Terms of Service

Last updated: June 8, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Clavis, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including DJs, venues, promoters, and aspiring artists.

2. Description of service

Clavis is a business management platform for the music industry. We provide tools for profile management (EPK), gig and calendar management, invoicing, contracts, rider management, and communication between DJs and talent buyers. We are a software platform — we are not a booking agency and do not guarantee bookings or payments between parties.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately via our support team if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Clavis (profile information, photos, documents). By uploading content, you grant Clavis a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store it for the purpose of providing the service.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Misrepresenting your identity or credentials
  • Using the platform to harass, threaten, or defraud other users
  • Scraping or automated data collection without our written consent
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
  • Using Clavis in violation of any applicable law

7. Bookings and payments

Clavis facilitates communication between DJs and talent buyers but is not a party to any booking agreement. All payment terms, contracts, and obligations are solely between the DJ and the venue. Clavis is not liable for payment disputes, cancelled bookings, or breach of contract between users.

8. AI features

Clavis uses AI to assist with profile import, rider import, and document parsing. AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before use.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Clavis is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clavis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
